Description

Tryptic Soy Broth is a general-purpose culture medium for the isolation and cultivation of fastidious and non-fastidious microorganisms or the maintenance of stock culture. It is a complex medium suitable for the cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, and molds. The formulation of the TSB medium contains a combination of casein and soy peptones supplying organic nitrogen, particularly amino acids, and long-chained peptides. Sodium chloride maintains the osmotic equilibrium, and the natural sugars from soy peptone are the energy sources.

Application

Tryptic Soy Broth is a medium that supports the luxuriant growth of many fastidious organisms without adding serum. It is used for confirmation of Campylobacter jejuni by motility test. It is suitable for the cultivation of both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.

Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB) یک محیط کشت عمومی است که برای جداسازی و پرورش انواع میکروارگانیسم‌ها، از آنهایی که به سختی رشد می‌کنند تا آنهایی که نیازمندی خاصی ندارند، استفاده می‌شود. همچنین برای نگهداری کشت‌های ذخیره هم کاربرد دارد.

این محیط کشت، ترکیبی پیچیده دارد که برای رشد و جداسازی طیف گسترده‌ای از باکتری‌ها، مخمرها و کپک‌ها مناسب است. فرمولاسیون TSB شامل ترکیبی از پپتون‌های کازئین و سویا است که نیتروژن آلی، به ویژه اسیدهای آمینه و پپتیدهای زنجیره‌بلند را فراهم می‌کند. سدیم کلرید تعادل اسمزی محیط را حفظ می‌کند و قندهای طبیعی موجود در پپتون سویا نیز به عنوان منبع انرژی عمل می‌کنند.

کاربرد

محیط کشت تریپتیک سوی براث محیطی است که رشد انبوه بسیاری از ارگانیسم‌های سخت رشد را بدون افزودن سرم پشتیبانی می‌کند. این محیط برای تأیید کمپیلوباکتر ژژونی با آزمایش حرکت استفاده می‌شود. این محیط برای کشت باکتری‌های هوازی و بی‌هوازی مناسب است.
