LB Agar,Miller Modification

Contains the nutrients as described by Bertani (1951), and Luria & Burrows (1955). Formulation modified by Miller (1972).

This medium is used to grow Escherichia coli for molecular biology applications. This rich medium supports the rapid growth of Escherichia coli for molecular biology applications, as well as other microbes during general culture maintenance. This is the most widely-used formulation of LB Broth (Stambrook,1989).

این محیط کشت برای رشد اشریشیا کلی برای کاربردهای زیست‌شناسی مولکولی استفاده می‌شود. این محیط کشت غنی، رشد سریع اشریشیا کلی را برای کاربردهای زیست‌شناسی مولکولی و همچنین سایر میکروب‌ها را در طول نگهداری عمومی کشت پشتیبانی می‌کند. این رایج‌ترین فرمولاسیون محیط کشت LB Broth است (Stambrook,1989).
