as a vitamin supplement in the basal medium for the cultivation of Bacillus mojavensis and Bacillus subtilis strains
as a supplement in pre-conditioning medium/MS salts to initiate somatic embryogenesis induction of Coffea canephora seeds
for oral administration in piglets to study its effect on the development of homocysteinemia

Biochem/physiol Actions
Pyridoxine/Vitamin B6 plays a key role in the nervous, immune, and endocrine systems. It is also involved in the metabolic processes of proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates. Deficiency of pyridoxine may lead to convulsions and epileptic encephalopathy and result in infant abnormalities.

پیریدوکسین هیدروکلراید در موارد زیر استفاده شده است:

به عنوان مکمل ویتامینی در محیط پایه برای کشت سویه‌های Bacillus mojavensis و Bacillus subtilis
به عنوان مکمل در محیط پیش‌شرطی‌سازی/نمک‌های MS برای آغاز القای جنین‌زایی سوماتیکی دانه‌های Coffea canephora
برای تجویز خوراکی در بچه خوک‌ها به منظور بررسی اثر آن بر توسعه هیپرهموسیستئینمی

عملکردهای بیوشیمیایی/فیزیولوژیکی
پیریدوکسین/ویتامین B6 نقش کلیدی در سیستم‌های عصبی، ایمنی و غدد درون‌ریز ایفا می‌کند. همچنین در فرآیندهای متابولیک پروتئین‌ها، لیپیدها و کربوهیدرات‌ها نقش دارد. کمبود پیریدوکسین ممکن است منجر به تشنج و آنسفالوپاتی صرعی و ناهنجاری‌های نوزاد شود.
