Application
Streptomycin is used to study mechanisms of streptomycin resistance and is often used together with penicillin and other agents to inhibit bacterial contamination in cell culture applications. It is recommended for use in molecular biology applications at 25-50μg/mL, in cell culture applications at 100 mg/L and in embryo culture at 50 mg/L.

کاربرد
استرپتومایسین برای مطالعه مکانیسم‌های مقاومت به استرپتومایسین استفاده می‌شود و اغلب همراه با پنی‌سیلین و سایر عوامل برای جلوگیری از آلودگی باکتریایی در کاربردهای کشت سلولی به کار می‌رود. توصیه می‌شود در کاربردهای زیست‌شناسی مولکولی با غلظت 25-50 میکروگرم در میلی‌لیتر، در کاربردهای کشت سلولی با غلظت 100 میلی‌گرم در لیتر و در کشت جنین با غلظت 50 میلی‌گرم در لیتر استفاده شود.
