Application

Fast blue RR salt has been used in the immunohistochemistry to detect the activity of alkaline phosphatase.It has been used in the procedure of connective tissue staining using picrosirius red.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Fast blue RR is mainly used in histological stainings. It binds to the reaction product of alkaline phosphatase and precipitates it as an insoluble compound. The sites of alkaline phosphatase activity appears black. Fast blue RR is also used for the detection of esterase activity. It couples with naphthol (released from naphthol acetate) and forms an insoluble azo-dye which appears red/blue.
 

کاربرد

Fast blue RR در ایمونوهیستوشیمی برای تشخیص فعالیت آلکالین فسفاتاز استفاده شده است. این نمک در روش رنگ‌آمیزی بافت همبند با استفاده از قرمز پیکروسیریوس نیز کاربرد دارد.

اقدامات بیوشیمی/فیزیولوژیکی

Fast blue RR عمدتاً در رنگ‌آمیزی‌های بافت‌شناسی استفاده می‌شود. این رنگ به محصول واکنش آلکالین فسفاتاز متصل شده و آن را به صورت یک ترکیب نامحلول رسوب می‌دهد. محل‌های فعالیت آلکالین فسفاتاز سیاه به نظر می‌رسند. Fast blue RR همچنین برای تشخیص فعالیت استراز استفاده می‌شود. این رنگ با نفتول (که از نفتول استات آزاد می‌شود) جفت می‌شود و یک رنگ آزو نامحلول تشکیل می‌دهد که به رنگ قرمز/آبی ظاهر می‌شود.
