Description

Giemsa′s azur-eosin-methylene blue - for microscopy dye, is a dry dye that is used for the preparation of a staining solution. Giemsa′s staining is one of the standard procedures in histology, hematology, cytology and bacteriology. When used in hematological applications, Giemsa′s stain is frequently used in combination with other dye solutions, e. g. with May-Grünwald′s solution for Pappenheim (MGG) overview staining. The stain demonstrates various cells with their morphological features better than e.g. with H&E stain in histology. This staining solution generally stains the nuclei red, based on the molecular interaction between the Eosin Y dye and an Azure B-DNA complex. Both dyes assemble to an Eosin Y - Azure B-DNA complex and the intensity of the resulting stain depends on the content of Azure B and the ratio of Azure B : Eosin Y. Furthermore, the resulting stain can vary depending on the influence of fixation, staining times, pH-value of the solutions or buffer substances.

Giemsa's azur-eosin-methylene blue، یک رنگ خشک برای تهیه محلول رنگ‌آمیزی میکروسکوپی است. رنگ‌آمیزی گیمسا یکی از روش‌های استاندارد در بافت‌شناسی، خون‌شناسی، سیتولوژی و باکتریولوژی به شمار می‌رود. در کاربردهای خون‌شناسی، رنگ گیمسا اغلب به همراه سایر محلول‌های رنگ‌آمیزی، به عنوان مثال محلول مای-گرونوالد برای رنگ‌آمیزی کلی پاپنهایم (MGG)، استفاده می‌شود. این رنگ، سلول‌های مختلف و ویژگی‌های مورفولوژیکی آن‌ها را بهتر از رنگ‌آمیزی‌هایی مانند هماتوکسیلین و ائوزین (H&E) در بافت‌شناسی نشان می‌دهد.
