Application
Molybdic acid can be used:
In the preparation of silica-supported molybdic acid catalyst for the synthesis of pyrano [2,3-c] chromene derivatives by condensation of aldehydes, malononitrile, and 4-hydroxycoumarin.
In the synthesis of Froehde reagent for the presumptive identification of alkaloids like opioids.
As a molybdenum source in the preparation of MoSe2.
