Description
Bacteriological Meat Peptone is a high clarity and stability pancreatic hydrolysate of animal tissues designed for culture media applications. It is a growth-promoting nitrogenous nutrient (peptides and amino acids) with a neutral pH. It has a high sulfur compound content which makes it suitable for the detection of microbes (Clostridia spp., Salmonella spp.) producing hydrogen sulfide. It is also used in animal cell culture and microbiology culture media.
Application
Bacteriological meat peptone is a rich source of organic nitrogen and therefore used in a variety of media preparations to cultivate yeasts and molds, Enterobacteria and Staphylococci. It can also be used for the commercial production of vaccines, steroids, antibiotics, enzymes and other products. In recent times it has also been used as a medium additive for the production of recombinant therapeutic proteins

پپتون گوشت باکتریولوژیک یک هیدرولیزات پانکراسی با شفافیت و پایداری بالا از بافت‌های حیوانی است که برای کاربردهای محیط کشت طراحی شده است. این ماده یک ماده مغذی نیتروژنی (پپتیدها و اسیدهای آمینه) با pH خنثی است که باعث رشد می‌شود. دارای محتوای بالای ترکیبات گوگردی است که آن را برای تشخیص میکروب‌های تولید کننده سولفید هیدروژن (Clostridia spp.، Salmonella spp.) مناسب می‌سازد. همچنین در کشت سلول‌های حیوانی و محیط‌های کشت میکروبیولوژی استفاده می‌شود.
کاربرد
پپتون گوشت باکتریولوژیک منبع غنی از نیتروژن آلی است و بنابراین در انواع محیط‌های کشت برای کشت مخمرها و کپک‌ها، انتروباکتریاسه‌ها و استافیلوکوک‌ها استفاده می‌شود. همچنین می‌تواند برای تولید تجاری واکسن‌ها، استروئیدها، آنتی‌بیوتیک‌ها، آنزیم‌ها و سایر محصولات مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. در سال‌های اخیر نیز به عنوان یک افزودنی محیط کشت برای تولید پروتئین‌های درمانی نوترکیب مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است.
